Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience required. Confidence in abilities as a dental assistant with the capacity to communicate a treatment plan well to patients and administrative staff also required. Candidates must have a willingness to be flexible and adapt to office protocols, the ability to work at a fast pace and help out where needed, while staying on time, excellent people skills, computer proficiency, strong attention to detail, and ability to multi-task and prioritize projects. Must be proficient at rubber dam and isolite placement and have experience working with dental implants, crown and bridge, removable appliances, root canal treatments, work well with all ages, and must be meticulous about sterile chain and OSHA guidelines.
