A well-established, single doctor-owned is hiring a full-time hygienist. This practice provides exceptional dental care in an environment where every patient feels comfortable, valued, and well-cared for. Job duties include performing dental cleaning, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling/root planning, applying sealants and fluoride treatments. As well as taking digital radiographs and administering local anesthetic and conducting digital scanning for patient care. Assisting the doctor with dental exams. Educating patients on oral health practices. Maintaining patient records and documentation using digital charting. They are seeking a hygienist who is dedicated, detail-oriented, a strong team player, and has a positive and compassionate attitude toward patient care.
One side SRP is booked for 90-2 hours (depending on the severity) with diode laser treatment, recare/ PM is for one hour. For new patients, you are booked with assistants for x-rays and exams, and one hour for prophy/PM. They don’t start SRP on the same day on new patients. Currently, there is one dentist, 2 hygienists, 2 assistants and 2 admin with the longest tenure employee at 13 years.
Position is available due to a long-time hygiene retiring.
